Do I need to throw out my couch?? Mold after Kona lows

Our take

Dealing with mold on your couch can be a frustrating experience, especially after those humid Kona lows. If you're seeing mold spots on your white upholstery, you're not alone—many have faced similar challenges in this climate. Before you consider tossing out your beloved couch, there are options to explore. Many have successfully removed mold from upholstery using a combination of vinegar and a Green Machine, though results can vary based on humidity and the extent of the mold. It’s essential to act quickly to prevent further damage and potential health risks. If you've tackled this issue before, your insights could be invaluable. Share your experiences and tips, or provide a reality check on what to expect in this humid environment.

Do I need to throw out my couch?? Mold after Kona lows

After those Kona lows, my white couch is starting to get mold spots all over. gotta love the humidity. Not sure if this is salvageable or if I’m about to lose the whole couch.

Anyone here dealt with this? Were you able to actually get mold out of upholstery? I’m thinking vinegar + a Green Machine but not sure if that works in our climate or is a waste of time.

Any tips (or reality checks) appreciated.
