How to transfer a vehicle from parent to child, and then transfer it to the mainland?

Our take

Transferring a vehicle from parent to child, especially when moving to the mainland for college, can be a daunting process. Begin by gathering necessary documents, including your identification and the vehicle’s title. Schedule appointments with both your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for the transfer of ownership and the DMV in your new state for registration. This dual process can be complex, but staying organized and proactive will help ensure you complete both transfers smoothly before starting college. Embrace the adventure of this transition!

I'm moving to the mainland for college soon, and I'm looking up how to get my vehicle that my dad bought me transferred to my name, and to be registered and transferred to the state I'm moving to. All I know is that it's going to be hard to do both at the same time, I know some of the instructions, like providing information of me and the car, but I'm more confused about how to schedule an appointment for both in the first place, and to get it transferred and registered before I start college.

I don't know why my parents put me on this shitty island, this would be a lot easier, faster, and cheaper if I lived on the mainland.
