HPU Marine Science

Our take

Hello, Reddit community! I recently received exciting news: I've been accepted into Carroll University to study Marine Science, which includes a partnership with Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). As someone who has never been to Hawaii, I'm eager to learn more about HPU and its Marine Science program, which I've heard is quite solid. However, I've come across mixed reviews regarding the school, particularly concerning staff interactions and campus living conditions. I'm curious if anyone can share their firsthand experiences at HPU, especially in the Marine Science field. Is the program truly worth committing to for two years? Any insights on the community, the culture, and overall experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello people of Reddit, I got accepted into Carroll University yesterday, and I'm going into Marine Science. Their program is partnered with Hawaii Pacific University, and I'm wondering what it's like there. I've never been to Hawaii, I've also seen mixed reviews on the school, but I heard their Marine Science program is pretty solid. I just wanna know if it's worth going two years for. I've heard some bad stuff about staff and that the dorms may not be great, but I honestly just don't know anything about the school. Ty. <3
