Need to find the best way to sum a list of given values, to equal another given value (or closest to)
Can someone smarter than me suggest how to solve the following in Excel?
Given a value A, and between 5 and 15 values B,C,D.... What combination of values B,C,D... added together (using each value only once) gives you the closest value to A
Any suggestions gratefully received.
