Experiences with Fjällräven Photo Insert?

Hey! I’m looking for a good way to carry my camera (Fuji X-T30 III) around and have narrowed it down to the Peak Design Everyday 3L Sling and the Fjällräven Photo Insert in size S (https://www.fjallraven.com/eu/en-gb/bags-gear/kanken/kanken-accessories/kanken-photo-insert-small/). I like the look of the latter more than the former, but would really like to not have to put the insert in a bag when going out with just the camera and just wear it on my person in a similar fashion to how one would wear the Peak Design sling. Do any of you have the Fjällräven insert with a strap attached and use it as a bag in itself, without an exterior bag? Yay or nay?
