Default date format doesn't match my system settings
I just want Excel to default to the short date format instead of whatever format 2-Mar is. I have checked the system settings, which is the only guidance I have been able to find, and everything is correct. Is there a way to tell Excel to default to short date? And does anyone know who the 2-Mar format is useful for? It has to be the default for a reason.
