Is a 90-degree white wall setup a viable alternative to an infinity backdrop?

I’m setting up a small photo studio again after some years away from having a physical space.

I mainly shoot female portraits focused on personal branding, casual and more intimate sessions. The studio will include real-life setups (sofa, rug, workspace), but I also need a clean white background.

A traditional cyclorama feels expensive and space-inefficient for my setup. Paper rolls are also not ideal, as they don’t allow models to lean or interact with the background.

I’m considering a mobile white platform/wall that can be placed against a white wall, even though it would create a 90-degree corner instead of a curved transition.

Has anyone shot with a similar setup or found good alternatives to a classic infinity wall?

What would be the minimum or ideal size for this kind of background (portraits to near full-body)?
