Need help with having prints made

Hey folks, I need some assistance. It seems every time I have a print made, whether it be on canvas or metal, it comes out much darker than the image I provide the print house with. I have gone through three different printers and have experienced the same thing each time which leads me to believe that the fault must lie with me. In the linked example you can see that the original (top) there is much more detail in the lower half of the image which is lost in the metal print (bottom) and you can see the print itself is just much darker. Does anyone have tips or tricks on how to have an image printed so it actually comes out looking like the original? Thanks!
