Bali or Hawaii if money isn't a problem

Hey guys, I have been considering a Hawaii trip for me and my gf. My friend who has recently been to Bali recommended it over Hawaii but not for very convincing reasons. Everyone is telling me Hawaii is too expensive and thats all I can find online. The thing is I have all the credit card points to cover flight and stays for 2 weeks, so essentially free. I am not really craving an exotic across-the-world travel destination either, I just came back from a 3 week trip to Japan. What I really want is the best most beautiful beaches, sunsets, and tropical vibe. Do you guys think Hawaii will be able to bring me this and if not is Bali or another option better and why?
