lost baggage malaysia airlines

i was on a flight from south korea to australia with a transfer at kuala lumpur and when i arrived my bag was nowhere to be found. i got help and they said it had been sent to sri lanka 😭😭. it’s been three days and they've “located” the bag but it still hasn’t arrived which is so weird cause there’s a flight every single day. i’m just rlly worried that it’s been lost and also wondering if anyone else has had the same experience and had ever received compensation because all my essentials are in that bag! ☹️☹️
