3 weeks in Argentina in May — looking for destination advice

I’m doing a 3-week solo budget trip in Argentina in May, and I’m trying to figure out where to spend an extra 5 days.

My current plan is:

  • Buenos Aires + Uruguay: ~6 days
  • Iguazú Falls: ~3 days
  • Salta/Jujuy: ~1 week

So I’ve still got about 5 days unplanned. I’ve already spent over 6 hours researching and can’t decide, so I’d really appreciate any advice.

A few places I’ve considered but feel unsure about:

  • Mendoza: I’m not really into wine, and while Ischigualasto/Talampaya look amazing, they seem hard to do without a car (I don't have an international driver license unfortunately).
  • Península Valdés: not sure May is a great time for wildlife.
  • Bariloche: looks beautiful, but I’m worried it’ll be too cold and that transport might be more limited in May.

I’m more into nature/scenery than cities. Any advice are really appreciated
