10 Days in Naples. August 2026

We will be in Naples for 10 days in August. I know it’s not the best time to go since it’s full of tourists, but our jobs will be closed so we decided to take advantage of it. How can we make the most of these days?

Because accommodation during those days is very expensive, we saw that it would be more economical to book a place in Naples for 10 days and from there do daily trips. What do you suggest? We want to live like locals do on holiday.
